Footrx is an orthotics shoe related mobile application. It joins multiple entities like Clinic, Specialty/Sub-Specialty, Physician, Patient, Insurance Type, HcPc Codes, Insurance Company and Patient Order. It allows transactions related to shoe order from clinic, fulfillment center, warehouse and lab. Fulfillment center is actually the central entity that controls the shoe order from A to Z. The journey starts when a patient visits the clinics and after examining him the doctor orders a shoe for that patient. The order goes to fulfillment center who check for the per-requisites required for patient like insurance etc. and pass the order to Lab and warehouse for their relevant stuff to prepare. Ultimately the order gets its delivery in doctor office where appointment booked for patient when he is expected to come and receive his order.

Fulfillment center is the key stakeholder of the whole process and execution of the business. When a new orthotic shoe clinic wants to subscribe and use the services of FootRx, they contact with fulfillment center. Some admin from there subscribes the clinic and staff of that clinic including physicians and other staff of that clinic. Clinic based users are also created to provide them access to the portal.

Fulfillment center is the body who directly receive the orders from clinics and the regulate them to the concerned departments to compile and assemble the orders like lab and warehouses. Moreover, only fulfillment center can have transparent view of the whole order journey from A to Z. Fulfillment center maintain the record in different queue based upon the current status of the order.

Clinic is the main stakeholder who actually generate the orders. After the clinic get subscribed by fulfillment center and get its users registered, its users get rights to perform actions according to their roles. Orthotic shoe order journey starts when a patient visits some physician in clinic. Physician examine the patient and based upon his observations he suggests him shoe and orders from the very user friendly and dynamic shoe ordering portal. The order submitted by physician straight goes to fulfillment center who is responsible to regulate it and finally get the shoe ready and delivered to the physician in the clinic who ordered for that.

There are some essentials parts to fit in the shoe like inserts etc. If such parts are to be the part of the shoe, then lab receive orders from fulfillment center to prepare these components of the shoe and pass it on to the warehouse.

Warehouse receive orders from fulfillment center to make the shoe ready for specified order. Order contains all the specifications of the shoe and its components. If warehouse is having ordered shoe in the stock, then they assemble it from stock otherwise they order for the shoe to some third party vendor and make it available for the order they received. If shoe has to has lab components as well then they receive it from lab and then make it part of the order. Warehouse also maintain the orders in different queues depending upon its current status.
